Linchfield Celebrates New Playground Markings Thanks to Community Support

We are delighted to announce the installation of vibrant new playground markings, made possible through the generosity and community spirit of three fantastic local supporters: The Deeping Lions, The Deeping Rotary Youth and Community Committee, and the Tesco Blue Token Scheme.

Their combined contributions helped the school reach its fundraising target, allowing the project to go ahead. The new markings include sports zones, games, and active play trails designed to encourage movement, teamwork, and imaginative play for all pupils.

Katie Brockington, Headteacher, shared her gratitude: “This project truly demonstrates the power of community partnerships. These playground markings will make a real difference to our children’s daily experience, and we’re incredibly thankful for the support that helped bring this to life.”
