The Rotary Club of the Deepings Boosts Library with £300 Donation

A heartfelt thank you to The Rotary Club of the Deepingsfor their kind donation of £300 to Linchfield Academy. This wonderful contribution has enabled us to purchase new library books, with a special focus on supporting our Year 1 learners and exploring important themes such as Empathy, Resilience, and Feelings.

We were delighted to welcome Rotarian’s Rita, Peter, and Teresa into school today, where they saw first-hand the children enjoying the fantastic new books.

Katie Brockington, Headteacher at Linchfield Academy, said: “We are incredibly grateful to The Rotary Club for their generous donation. These new books will make a real difference in helping our youngest learners understand important values like empathy and resilience. It was wonderful to welcome visitors into school and see the joy this gift has already brought to our children.”
